The Pharmacopoeia Commission issued a notice on October 28th regarding the collection of research samples for pharmaceutical excipient standards (the third batch in 2024). The detailed content is as follows:

In 2024, our committee will continue to organize research on the standards for pharmaceutical excipients in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. In order to enhance the representativeness of research samples for pharmaceutical excipient standards, ensure the scientific, reasonable, and applicable nature of pharmaceutical excipient standards, and fully leverage the active role of enterprises in standard formulation, in accordance with the "Drug Standard Management Measures", we are now assisting relevant units to publicly solicit research samples for pharmaceutical excipient standards (see attached catalog).

Please cooperate with relevant pharmaceutical excipient manufacturers and users to provide samples and relevant information that meet the requirements, and send them by mail or directly to the "sample mailing address" (see attachment for details) before November 25, 2024. Establish contact with the sample collection unit to strengthen technical communication and exchange during the standard revision process, and cooperate with data verification. Samples required for the project that have been provided in the early stage are not required to be provided again.

Please promote it widely among member units and encourage enterprises to actively participate. Our committee will publish a list of companies and associations that provide samples and information on the website.
