Notice on Holding the 18th General Meeting of the International Association of Medicinal Excipients (China)

Each member unit:

The 18th General Meeting of the International Association of Medicinal Excipients (China) will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026 in Wuhan. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Time and location

Time:November 13, 2026 (Friday), 9:00-12:30
Location:Baishi Hotel (Wuhan International Expo Center National Expo Center North Subway Station Branch), 5th floor Parrot Island Hall
Address:Building 3, Greenland Guobo Plaza (Phase II), No. 111 Sixin North Road, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province

2、 Attendance requirements and registration

• Attendance requirements: Each member unit shall send at least one representative to attend the meeting on site, fill out Attachment 2 "Power of Attorney for Company Representatives" and stamp it. The original power of attorney shall be sent to [Zhao Yufan, 18513775567, Building 26, Jiayuan Erli, Fengtai District, Beijing] before the meeting for archiving and auditing purposes.

3、 Council election

According to the Constitution, Procedure Manual, and Proposal of the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Association (IPEC China), and the IPEC China Council, in order to promote better development and cooperation of IPEC China, three to seven council members will be publicly elected among the representatives of IPEC China's senior member units.

Representatives of IPEC China senior member units can apply to participate in the election for directors; All members of IPEC China have the right to vote. Please refer to Attachment 3 "Notice on IPEC China Council Election" for specific candidate information and requirements.

The registered candidates will give a public campaign speech at the November 13th General Meeting, which will be voted by all IPEC China member representatives present (1 vote per member unit); Candidates who receive more than 2/3 of the votes (3-7 seats) will be elected as directors in order of their votes.

Each member unit only has one vote, please determine a unique voter within the unit. The Secretariat will send a voting code to voters via SMS before the meeting. The code must be filled in during the voting process to complete the voting.
